Hypertension Awareness and Prevention program (HAPp)

What is HAPp?

A FREE 4-month self-measured blood pressure program that provides:

  • A free electronic blood pressure monitor.
  • Biweekly 20-minute appointments with HAPp coach.
  • Monthly nutrition workshops.
  • Stress management & healthy lifestyle strategies.

Eligibility:

Patricipants must:

  • Be 18 years old or older.
  • Have a high blood pressure diagnosis or be on medication for hypertension/high blood pressure.
  • Be interested and committed to participate in the program.

Currently, we do not accept participants who:

  • Have experienced significant cardiac event within the last 6 months.
  • Have an atrial fibrillation or other arrhythmias.
  • Or have a diagnosis of lymphedema or risk of developing lymphedema.

Participants who don't qualify for HAPp are still able to attend all Nutrition Workshops.
